Based on the alien world EcOlan, filled with strange lifeforms and a unique magnetic atmosphere, a humanoid civilization is in a golden age of technological development. Conversely their people are on the verge of revolution. RakDar and most of his crew mutiny from the ElcinQui Civil Authority citing the leader for corruption. Made out to be a public enemy, RakDar is left for dead in an assassination attempt. He barely survives with help from a mysterious woman and the experience leaves RakDar imbued with electro-magnetic properties that are chaotic and they bear a heavy toll.

RakDar sets out with his team to rally the sparse and solitary nations of their world against a secret military juggernaut bent on global domination. While coping with his new powers and amplified emotions, RakDar leads his team against overwhelming odds; spies and assassins, military might and advanced weapons, propaganda and deception, while facing the dangers of diplomacy with eccentric cultures being charted for the first time in their planets history.
